How to Add Your Values to Your Plate
I bring these workshops to equip you with fluid skills and perspectives.
To make informed decisions in the face of the climate and ecological crises.
To engage in dismantling colonial systems of oppression.
To live in alignment with your values
To touch inner wholeness and peace.
A simple, overarching goal: to bring us closer to harmony and wholeness.
When we bring awareness and intention to our everyday habits and actions, we are more able to align them with our values and priorities. This will open the door to step out from the limited consumption box to the open sweet field of Reciprocity.
In Reciprocity lies healing and wellness for our hearts and Mother Earth 💚✨
One of the most insidious ways colonialism forces itself is through food and diets. It relies on our need for sustenance. It exacerbates its grip by altering our culture and attempting to erase Indigenous ways of communing with the land and each other through food because none of that is profitable!
Food is a gift and a medium through which we can start dismantling in small but deeply significant ways.
This is for you if…
You want to engage with decolonizing your life or the climate crisis and are faced with common roadblocks:
Struggling with guilt, dread, confusion, or overwhelm.
Fear that your effect will be insignificant.
Not sure where to start.
Maybe, like me, your neurodivergence flavor makes it hard to get started when there are 598 simple ways to do so, and you need someone to show you the first step.
You are financially burdened and don’t know how to eat more ethically on a budget.
You feel like there is not enough time to cook your food.
You have been committing to doing your part in dismantling colonialism, and you are ready to deepen your practice at home.
How will the workshops flow?
We start with a grounding, followed by definitions, history, and context.
We will have writing prompts and space to discuss.
I will share simple, accessible habits and practices that you can easily incorporate into your daily life, helping you to build momentum toward Reciprocity.
Finally, you will go home with a goodie sheet summarizing the practices, writing prompts, and resources to keep walking the path.
