Location: Longmire - Mount Tahoma (Rainier)
A new offering! A small, intimate group to go deep into the wilderness. An immersive experience in the old-growth forest. Nature is all around us, but there is something more in these ancient forest communities. A healing sense of awe and grounding. A peaceful and grounding soundscape. A complexity and scale that remind us of our place in this beautiful world.
(Limited to 3 participants)
I visit these forests as often as possible to refill my cup with inspiration, wonder, and commitment to healing and justice.
It’s also peak mushroom season in the Northwest. The hike will orient towards exploring, foraging, and identification practice. I will show you one of my go-to spots!
As always, this is a container to honor land, connect, and expand toward justice and wellness for all.
I offer these walks in the greater context of engaging with the climate and ecological crises. In our urban lives, hypnotized by capitalism, we are disconnected from what truly nurtures us. How can we care and prioritize something, someone from whom we are disconnected?
We gather and immerse ourselves in the embrace of nature. To give our loving attention. To experience life a little deeper, a little slower. We invite our inner children out with their curiosity and play. We do it with intention and with others who also want to tune in to our source. This is an act of mutual healing💚✨
The walks will flow in pace and activities based on the group, the season, the location, and the mood:
Identification practice: plants, birds, and mushrooms
Storytelling
Forest bathing and mindfulness practice
Ecology, climate, and sustainability conversations
PARTICIPCATION CONTRIBUTION:
Sliding scale from $100 to $175.
