A Visit with Salmon & Beaver

REGISTER LINK HERE

Do you live in Cascadia and have clean water to drink, food on your table, clean air to breath, and beautiful forests to roam? Then you owe a thank you to Salmon and Beaver. None of these gifts are possible without them. How does that work? Well, come with us and we'll learn together up close

Mid-November is the last window of the Coho Salmon return. We'll be walking through one the few active spots in the city where the Salmon are hanging on. Very up close, we'll get to see them, feel them, learn about them, welcome them home, and say a prayer and a thanks.

As we walk downstream, we'll say hello to another powerful ally: Beaver. These friends are active on this stream supporting Salmon habitat and getting ready to cozy up for the winter. If we're lucky, we'll have eyes on them during sunset activity.

This visit will be co-guided by Tareq and Lydia

We walk for culture healing through relational learning and orienting ourselves as part of the natural world 🌍. A politicized container to weave power and address systemic injustice.

As always, this is a container to honor land, heal culture, connect, and expand towards justice and wellness for all. We are QTBIPOC attuned.
